CATALONIA TADAY: Today’s seven wonders

The seven wonders of the Ancient World were chosen by the ancient Greek more than 2000 years ago and of the seven mythical wonders, only one remains today. Now an internet vote is calling for people from all over the world to designate the seven wonders of the modern world.
The idea for the selection comes from Swiss-Canadian film. They went to combine an ancient concept with the latest electronic technology.
From the 177 originals nominees. The final candidates are the ACROPOLIS (Athens), the ALHAMBRA (Granada), the ANCKOR (Cambodia), CHICEN ITZÁ (Yucatan), the CHRIST REDEEME (Rio de Janeiro), the COLOSSEUM (Rome), the EASTER ISLAND STATUES (Chile), the EIFFEL TOWER (Paris), the GRETA WALL (China), the HAIGIA SOPHIA (Istanbul), the KYOMIZU TEMPLE (Kyoto), the KREMLIN/ST.BASIL 8Moscou), the MACHU PICCHU (Peru), the NEUSCWANSTEIN CASTLE (Füssen), the PETRA (Jordan), the STATUE OF LIBERTY (New York), the STONEHENGE (Amesbury), the SIDNEY OPERA HOUSE (Australia), the TAJ MAHAL (Agra) and the TIMBUTKI (Mali).
In the moment 40 millions votes have been cast in the vote which will decide on the seven sites to be declared the new wonders.

First composition

This summer I have worked as a swimming pool’s vigilant. I worked from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. I have really worked a lot. I started to work on 11th juny and I finished 11th September. But in the swimming pool I have met a lot Spanish and French friend. Also I have met very old friends, who told me very funny stories about the owners of the houses that pertain in the swimming pool. In my work I had holiday on Tuesday and on Thursday. These days I went fish, to play football…
My problem was that the Saturdays I went to disco, these nights I went to the bed at about 6 a.m. and I only slept two or three hours.
This summer has been well but I have work too. So this summer has been the first time that I have work in all my life.

CATALONIA TODAY: Gore reigns in Spain

Spain in the European country more vulnerable to climate change.
The government have done 30,000 copies about climate change for use as an educational school by secondary-school teachers. It will cost 580,000 €.
Gore has been more criticism because the countries haven’t fulfil the Treatment of Kyoto.
